our core beliefs
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES:

We believe all of scripture is inspired by God, which consists of 66 books of the Old and New Testament. The Bible is God breathed and reveals the Holy character of God and it without error truthfully affirms and serves by inspiration of the Holy Spirit as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. It is the Sovereign and Supreme direction for what is right and wrong in all matters of life and is given for practical instruction in faith and conduct.
(Deut. 4:1-2 | Josh. 8:34 | Ps. 119: 89, 140 | Is. 40:8 | John 17:17 | 2 Tim. 3:15-17 | Heb. 4:12 | 2 Pet. 1:19-21)
ONE TRUE GOD

We believe there is only one God as declared by the Holy Scriptures. This one, sovereign and living God is the creator, ruler, and sustainer of all things. All creation owes Him supreme worship, which is demonstrated by faithful love and obedience.
(Deut. 6:4 | Ps. 145:3 | Dan. 4:25 | Matt. 28: 19-20 | John 1:3, 1:14 | Eph. 4:30 | Col. 1: 16-17)
THE TRINITY

We believe God is perfect in being and He exists eternally in three persons: The Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit; and all these three are One God.
THE PERSON AND REDEEMING WORK OF JESUS CHRIST

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, is the only begotten, eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. In his existence, He Lived as fully God and fully man. During His life, He preached and taught the Holy Scriptures and performed many miracles, that are recorded in the four gospels.

We believe that in supreme love, he was obedient to His father’s will to be the substitutionary, sacrificial Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

We believe he was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. Following His resurrection, he ascended to His father, where He sits at the right hand of God and is the head of the church and intercedes as one mediator between God and man. We believe He perfectly fulfills the offices of Prophet, Priest, and Sovereign Head of the Church.
(Luke 1:30-35 | John 1:1, 14, 18 | Hebrews 4:15 | Philippians 2:5-11 | Romans 3:25-31 | 2 Corinthians 5:14 | Hebrews 10:5-14 | John 20:20 | Philippians 3:20-21 | Hebrews 1:3 | 1 Corinthians 15:1-3 | Ephesians 1:23 | Philippians 2:6-8 | 2 Timothy 2:5 | 1 John 2:1-2)
THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is God and is the Third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit’s role is to bring Glory and Honor to God the Father and Jesus Christ. He dwells in all believers, baptizes and seals them immediately after they place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. He sanctifies and strengthens all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe the Holy Spirit blesses each Christian with spiritual gifts to help build up the Body of Christ and abides with us to direct, comfort, give understanding to the Holy Scriptures, and empower us in all things pertaining to Jesus Christ.

(Romans 5:5; | Romans 8:1-9 | Galatians 5:16-25 | John 14:16-17 | John 26 | John 15:26-27 | John 16:9-14 | 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19 | Gal. 5:22-26 | Eph. 1:13-14).
SALVATION

We believe that no person can be saved and enter the kingdom of God unless born again spiritually. The new birth of the believer comes only through repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe, also, that our redemption has been made possible by the grace of God, an undeserved gift, given in love by God and is not the result of any human works.
We believe that the exclusive message of salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ to those whom He has saved is to make Christ known to the entire world this is the purpose of the church through the believers within it.

(John 1:13-16 | John 3:3-16 | Acts: 10:43 | Acts 13:39 | Romans 3:24-26 | Romans 4:23-25 | Romans 5:1- 21 Romans 8:1 | 2 Cor. 5:17-21 | Gal. 2:20 | Eph. 2:1-9 | Phil. 3:7-9 | Col. 2:13-14 | Col 3:13).
SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER

We believe that true believers in Christ are eternally secure. They cannot lose their salvation. Even though they backslide through temptation of sin, and their fellowship with God is broken, God the Father will chasten them through discipline, and their fellowship with Him shall be renewed by repentance and the joy of their salvation shall be experienced once again by the grace and power of God.

(Matt. 13:20- 21 | John. 6:66-69 | John 8:31 | Rom. 8:28-39 | Phil. 1:6 | Heb. 13:5 | 1 John 2:27-28 | 1 John 3:9 | 1 John 5:12, 18).
THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is a unique and universal body of believers, that is made up of all those who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. The Church meets to praise, pray, participate in the Lord’s supper, and observe baptism and the preaching of the Holy Scriptures.
We serve as a light in the darkness, a city on hill, and a beacon of life and hope, with the intention of glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and bear witness to His saving grace in the world.

(Matt. 5:14-16 | Matt. 28:19 | John 4:7 | John 10:16 | Acts 1:8 | Acts 2:42-47 | Acts 6:1-6 | Acts 20:17-28 | Romans 3:22 | Eph. 1:22 | Eph. 2:19-22 | Eph. 3:6-10 | Eph. 4:11-16 | Eph. 5:19-23 | Col. 1:18 | Col. 3:16 | 1 Tim. 3:1-12 | Titus 1:5-9 | Heb. 3:13 | Heb. 10:24-25).
FINAL THOUGHTS...

We believe that after the death of all men, their bodies return to dust. The bodies of all the dead will be raised. The righteous in Christ to be with Him; the unrighteous, to await their final judgment.
One day, Christ will return personally and visibly to the earth, to set up His Kingdom and judge the living and the dead. At His return, those who have been redeemed by His atoning sacrifice and resurrection will be brought into His presence forever and will worship Him for all eternity.
